Minnesota Snowmobile Safety Class
The St Stephen River Runners are teaming up with the Sportsman Club to conduct a Hands-on Snowmobile Safety Training Class. The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources recommends safety training for everyone who operates a snowmobile. It is required for snowmobile riders born after Dec. 31, 1976. You must be at least 11 years old to take this online course.
5 easy steps You must pass the online course and attend the Hands-on Snowmobile Safety Training Class.
1. Study and pass the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources on line safety class. Click here for link
2.Upon successful completion of the snowmobile driving course, pay the DNR $29.50 online and print out your course completion certificate.
3. Register for the Hands-on Snowmobile Safety Training Class on the DNR Website Click here for link
Bring your printed online completion certificate to the Trail Gaiting Party at Trobec's on Saturday December 1st between 7-9pm to "check in"
4. Hands-on Snowmobile Safety Training Class -No class planned as of yet, for our club again this year, please check DNR Website for ones in the area. Bring a parent and you may bring your own snowmobile, if you don't have a snowmobile, we will have a few extras!
5. After completion of the "hands-on" course, go back to the DNR website and register your completion certificate ($5 fee)
